Frequently Asked Questions
1. What exactly does Lindey Lambert do?
I help established business owners turn marketing from a collection of random activities into a strategic system for growth.
As a Strategic Business Growth Advisor and Fractional Chief Marketing Officer, I help you clarify your message, strengthen your positioning, increase your visibility and authority, expand the relationships that drive referrals, and install the systems that consistently move the right people toward becoming clients.
My team and I then help turn that strategy into action—so you don’t have to figure out how to do everything yourself.
The goal is simple:
More money. More time. More capacity. More freedom.
2. Who do you work with?
I primarily work with attorneys, professional service providers, consultants, entrepreneurs, and established business owners who are excellent at what they do—but know their marketing and business development aren’t yet producing at the level they should.
My clients aren’t looking for more things to do.
They’re looking for a smarter strategy, stronger systems, and an experienced strategic partner who can see the bigger picture and help turn their expertise and relationships into sustainable growth.
3. How are you different from a traditional business coach?
I’m not simply coaching you through your business. My team and I are helping you build the growth engine behind it.
I bring more than two decades of experience in media, marketing, business development, relationship building, and entrepreneurship to the table. We look at the entire ecosystem: your positioning, messaging, offers, visibility, authority, referral relationships, client journey, marketing systems, and revenue opportunities.
Think of me less as someone standing on the sidelines giving you advice and more as the secret weapon for business growth sitting beside you, helping determine what we should do next—and how all the pieces work together.
4. What is a Fractional Chief Marketing Officer?
A Fractional Chief Marketing Officer gives you senior-level marketing strategy and leadership without the expense of hiring a full-time CMO.
Instead of piecing together advice from different coaches, agencies, vendors, and marketing trends, you have someone looking across your business and asking:
What is actually going to move this business forward?
I lead the strategy, and depending on the engagement, my team and I can help install the systems, oversee execution, develop marketing assets, guide your existing team and vendors, and continually identify new opportunities for growth.
5. What is the Strategic Growth Engine™?
Your Strategic Growth Engine™ is the system my team and I help you build to make your business easier to find, easier to trust, easier to refer, and easier to hire.
We focus on five core areas:
Messaging — Clearly communicate what you do, who you help, and why you’re the obvious choice.
Visibility — Get you in front of the right people, in the right places, for the right reasons.
Authority Assets — Build the content, credibility, speaking assets, social proof, and professional presence that establish trust before the first conversation.
Referral Growth — Strengthen and expand the relationships that can continually introduce you to new opportunities.
Client Attraction Systems — Create intentional ways to nurture prospects and move relationships toward revenue.
Together, we turn these individual pieces into an integrated growth strategy designed to move your business forward.
This is Marketing That Makes You Money™.
6. I already get most of my business from referrals. Do I really need marketing?
Yes—and you’re probably in an ideal position to benefit from it.
Great marketing doesn’t replace relationships and referrals.
It multiplies them.
When someone hears your name, what happens next?
They Google you. They visit your website. They look at LinkedIn. They read your content. They look for proof that you’re as good as the person referring you says you are.
Your marketing should reinforce the referral, accelerate trust, and make the decision to contact you easier.
I believe in relationships over algorithms, authority over attention, and strategy over noise.
7. I don’t want to become an influencer. Is this still for me?
Absolutely.
You don’t need millions of followers. You need the right people to know who you are, understand what you do, trust your expertise, and remember your name when an opportunity arises.
For many of my clients—particularly attorneys and professional service providers—authority matters far more than internet fame.
We’re not trying to make you famous.
We’re making you the obvious choice.
8. I’ve spent money on marketing before and didn’t get the results I wanted. How is this different?
This is one of the most common reasons people come to me.
Often the problem isn’t that they haven’t done enough marketing. It’s that they’ve accumulated disconnected tactics without an overarching strategy.
A website over here. Social media over there. Networking. An email list nobody uses. A CRM that isn’t really working. Maybe an agency, consultant, or several vendors who are each responsible for one small piece.
More marketing isn’t necessarily the answer. Better orchestration is.
I look at the business strategically, and my team and I determine what’s working, what’s missing, what can be eliminated, and what needs to work together so your marketing begins supporting the actual growth of the business.
9. Will you make me do more marketing?
Not necessarily.
In fact, sometimes my first recommendation is to stop doing things.
I don’t believe business owners need another endless list of marketing obligations.
We identify the highest-value activities, assets, relationships, and systems for your particular business and focus your resources there. Then my team and I help create the infrastructure and support that makes those activities easier to execute consistently.
The goal isn’t to make you busier.
It’s to make your marketing more productive.
10. Can you help me make more money without working more hours?
That’s one of the central questions behind my work.
Growth shouldn’t automatically require more of your time.
We look for ways to increase revenue while also creating capacity—through stronger positioning, better offers, smarter marketing, referral systems, strategic relationships, improved follow-up, delegation, automation, and focusing your energy on the activities only you can do.
My team and I help build the systems and marketing infrastructure that support that growth without requiring you to personally carry every piece of it.
Ultimately, we’re building a business capable of giving you:
More money. More time. More capacity. More freedom.
11. How quickly can I expect results?
Every business is different, and no ethical advisor can guarantee a specific financial result or timeline.
What we can do is identify the opportunities most likely to create movement and begin there.
Sometimes a messaging change creates an immediate difference. Sometimes reconnecting with the right relationships produces opportunities quickly. Other strategies—authority building, referral development, search visibility, email marketing, speaking, and reputation—compound over time.
The objective isn’t a temporary spike.
It’s to build a Strategic Growth Engine™ that becomes more valuable the longer it runs.
12. Do you actually help implement the strategy?
Yes.
The level of implementation depends on the engagement, but my work goes well beyond strategy sessions.
My team and I help turn the strategy into action.
Depending on your engagement, we may help develop messaging, campaigns, authority assets, referral strategies, email marketing, content, speaking materials, CRM systems, client attraction systems, and overall marketing plans—as well as coordinate with the people already supporting your business.
I don’t want to hand you a beautiful strategy document that sits in a drawer.
My team and I help you put it to work.
13. Do I need a marketing team already in place?
No.
Some clients have internal teams or outside vendors. Others are essentially their own marketing department when we begin.
Part of my role is helping determine what you actually need, what can be automated or delegated, what should stay with you, and where additional expertise makes sense.
When appropriate, my team and I can also provide execution and support so you aren’t left trying to assemble all the pieces yourself.
You don’t necessarily need a bigger team.
You need the right growth infrastructure.
14. Is this only for large businesses?
No—but it is designed for established professionals and business owners who are serious about growth.
You don’t need a huge company or massive marketing budget. You do need a proven skill, service, or business and the willingness to invest in building the next level strategically.
If you’re looking for random marketing hacks, this probably isn’t the right fit.
If you’re ready to build a business that creates more money, more time, more capacity, and more freedom, we should talk.
15. What happens when we work together?
We begin by looking at where your business is now, where you want it to go, and what’s standing between the two.
I identify the highest-leverage opportunities and develop the strategic direction. Then my team and I help create the messaging, systems, assets, campaigns, and marketing infrastructure needed to close the gap.
My work is highly strategic and highly personalized because no two businesses have exactly the same growth problem.
We don’t start with tactics. We start with the business.
Then we build the marketing around where you want it to go.
16. How do I know which program is right for me?
You don’t need to figure that out before we talk.
We’ll look at where your business is today, what you’re trying to accomplish, what you’ve already built, and where I believe the biggest opportunities are.
If I believe I can help, I’ll recommend the best place to begin.
And if I don’t believe I’m the right person for what you need, I’ll tell you.
17. Ready to Build Your Strategic Growth Engine™?
You don’t need more random marketing.
You need a strategy that turns your expertise, reputation, relationships, and visibility into business growth.
I lead the strategy.
My team and I help make it happen.
More money. More time. More capacity. More freedom.
Let’s build the system that gets you there.
